John 1:35-39 New International Version (NIV)
John’s Disciples Follow Jesus 35 The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. 36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!”
37 When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. 38 Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?” They said, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?” 39 “Come,” he replied, “and you will see.”
So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.

Who pointed you to Jesus? For me it was my parents. They had me and my siblings baptized when we were young. They brought us to church. They taught us the Bible. They took us to Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. Maybe for you it was a parent, grandparent or friend. My grandmother started following Jesus after attending a Billy Graham crusade! John the Baptist had disciples who wanted to learn from him. They wanted to learn about God and how God wanted them to live. Instead of saying, “sure, just follow my lead,” he said, “Behold! THERE is the Lamb of God! Follow HIM!” Praise God for those people in your life who said “Behold! Follow HIM!” Let us also do the same and proclaim to others in our lives “Do not follow me! Behold! Follow HIM!”
