"GO" Where He Leads You!!! Hallelujah! HE IS RISEN!!!

Matthew 28:16-20 New International Version (NIV)

The Great Commission 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

From the beginning of Matthew’s Gospel he has been preparing us for this moment. The climax was the resurrection, but he ends his Gospel with the (great) commission of Jesus to go out into all the world with the news of Jesus’s victory over death! The Gospel of Matthew closes with a promise: Jesus is always with us. Always. He will never leave our side. As you “go” into the world there will be trouble, suffering and fear but all that means nothing now. Jesus has defeated death and He gives His life to you. When you go to work Jesus is with you. When you go home Jesus is with you. When you are surrounded by people or when you are all alone Jesus is still with you. May God bless you with peace that passes all understanding as you “go” where He leads. Hallelujah! He is risen!
