Great News....The Day will Come When the Mystery is Over!

Matthew 25:31-32 New International Version (NIV)

The Sheep and the Goats

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Mon. October 12 Think of the other parables we have looked at over the last few months. In the Parable of the Weeds the bad weeds are allowed to grow up with the good wheat (Matt. 13:30). God permits (forgives) the bad, but not forever. Similarly, in the Parable of the Net all things are gathered in by the fishermen (Matt. 13:47). In the parable of the Mustard Seed, the Leaven, the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price… the Kingdom of God is described as being hidden but powerful (Matt. 13:31-33, 44-46). The Kingdom is a mystery that we cannot control or manipulate to suit our own desires, but it is powerful and will accomplish God’s will. Eventually a day will come when the Kingdom will be fully revealed and the evil will no longer be permitted. Jesus wins! That is great news! Right now we live by faith in the mysterious, but powerful Kingdom of God’s grace and mercy.
