In your Day to Day Life...Forgive Others!

Matthew 25:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.
Tue. October 6 - Have you ever heard of a “time and talent” form? Maybe you have filled one out in the past. The idea of the form is to share with the church what times you are available to serve and what talents you have to offer. Then when a need arises someone at church can call you to help get a particular project done or to ask you to serve in a particular area. People often think that this parable is about using and investing our “talents” wisely to bless the church. That is NOT what is going on in this parable. What our master, Jesus, has “entrusted” us with is the Gospel! Don’t get me wrong, there is a lot to get done at church and THANK YOU for pitching in! I really do appreciate it. Seriously! But we have been entrusted with using the “property” of forgiveness every single day. When you stop holding grudges and forgive someone then peace will follow. Your heart, as well as theirs, will be set free to live in peace and joy. Do it at home, at work, at school, and wherever you go!
