Matthew 28:18-20 New International Version (NIV)
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Saturday - June 13 - Read Matthew 28:18-20 There is another important point to highlight in this brief passage: you are never alone. I recently picked up the hobby of woodworking. After sitting in the office all day I wanted to build something with my hands. I borrowed some power tools from my grandpa that run on batteries. On my first project, I was in the middle of cutting a sheet of plywood and my circular saw stopped. I did not have another battery so I had to wait for that one to recharge. Jesus has promised to never to leave us alone or leave us without power to do the work he has given us. In fact, it is often when we feel like we have no power left that Jesus works in more powerful ways.
