Wednesday - November 3

If you live in the country your next closest neighbor might be a mile down the road with a large field in between your houses. That “space” sets you apart. The closest neighbor to the parsonage is about 20 feet out the back door! Not much space. Paul says that the righteousness of God is set apart from the Law like those two farm houses. They are completely and totally separate! Instead, the righteousness of God is found in Jesus Christ alone! That righteousness, which is the state of being innocent and just before God, is received through faith. When we cling to Jesus we are made “right.”
