Be Amazed as You Lead Others To Christ!

John 14:10-12 New International Version (NIV)
10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Jesus makes a pretty amazing declaration that his followers will do more
amazing things than he has done! Consider just a brief list of what he has
done up to this point: walked on water, fed five thousand with a few loaves
of bread and a few fish, calmed a storm, raised a man from the dead. The
disciples did do some amazing miracles which are recorded in the book of
Acts. However, the most amazing thing that the followers of Jesus will do is
lead others to faith in Jesus. All the signs and wonders that Jesus performed
were for the sake of bringing people to faith in himself. You and I are not
Jesus, yet God uses the things that we do to bring people to faith. That is an
incredible miracle! This is a promise that as you cling to Jesus in faith he will
use you to create faith in your family, friends, neighbors, and many others.
