John 1:40-42 New International Version (NIV)
40 Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter[a])

Many people are looking for salvation, some are not. Those who know they need salvation feel the weight of this world upon their shoulders. That might be you. Or you might know someone who feels that way. Just one example might be a married couple who have been going through a rough time. They dearly love each other, but the bills, jobs, kids, and everything else in life keeps weighing them down. Others might be going through physical, psychological, or emotional suffering. God has come to call sinners, which does not only refer to people who have done immoral or bad things. “Sinners” are people who know that they are not perfect and recognize their great need for help. They need forgiveness, mercy, and salvation. Come to Jesus, the Savior and forgiver of sins. And bring others with you!
