Tuesday - May 12 - Read John 14:4-6
What is the “way” the path or the process by which we can get to the place
that Jesus is preparing for us? Through faith that He died and rose again for
us. The way is through the truth that the death of Jesus is also my death and
that his resurrection is also my resurrection (Rom. 6:3-4). The way is the life
of faith that clings to this truth and is filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is THE WAY. He is the only WAY. Because in him we receive
resurrection. The only way to the place that Jesus promised to prepare for
us is through the death of our old life of Sin and resurrection in the new life
of faith. Jesus is not merely THE Way, he is YOUR Way to life with God.
